Isco: "Casillas is the best in the world"

Isco talked to the press about Real Madrid's objectives for the season and he assured that "the footballing and human qualities" present in the Madrid dressing room are "unquestionable". "Furthermore, I've been surprised by the level of humility and the desire to keep winning. That's important when it comes to conquering lots of titles".
"I think the team looks good. The preseason has gone very well. We've been improving game after game and we can't wait to get down to business now. On a personal level, I'm really looking forward to playing my first game at the Bernabéu and starting with a win, which is very important. We want to do our best in every competition, not just the Champions League. We want to aspire to win everything we go in for", he explained.
Isco, who was full of praise for Benzema – "He helps a lot in build-up play and he's got goals in him" – and Özil – "He always puts the ball where you want it" – assured that he wasn't concerned about missing out on the Ecuador-Spain game, and said that he hasn't been following Barça's preseason: "I haven't been following Barça at all during the preseason. I'm only focusing on what we are doing, which is what's important".
The Spain international also talked about the battle between Casillas and Diego López for a starting spot: "They are both keepers that have proven themselves to be huge talents over their careers. Diego was fantastic last year, and, for me, Casillas is the best in the world, having won everything in recent years. I think it's great that there's such healthy competition between the posts".
